Our Mkushi bed is simply designed with a magnificent slab of Zambezi Teak for the headboard that shows off the wonderful colour and grain of this finest African hardwood. Both the headboard and footboard are made of solid Zambezi Teak timbers tongue and grooved to allow for the natural movement that occurs with all solid wood products. If we made these wide boards of one laminated piece, they would tend to split in time.
