Once certification is concluded, we would like to establish legal local wood carving communities into an organised business which we would help the communities establish and who would purchase certified timber from the forest operation and carve FSC certified curios for export and sale to tourists.

This would run in conjunction with a campaign to educate tourists to only buy legally certified curios. This would greatly enhance the financial return to carvers and the local community via much closer business collaboration, professionally organised marketing, and running the business in a professional manner while helping to curb illegal carving.
